Avoid this to succeed in TIENS
Avoid this to succeed in TIENS. In my less than two years in the MLM industry, I learnt some very good lessons. These lessons were not novel, but they were new to me. Some, I learnt the hard way, others, I just figured them out with time. I have had good times and bad times in this business and that is normal. I have met great leaders and terrible ones. I have seen growth and I have seen dips. I have met leaders who never leave you, and who will call when they seem not to notice you, I have seen leaders who only remember you when they see you. And lastly, I have seen leaders who don’t even care what happens to you, but when you succeed, come around and say “you have made me proud”. That sounds funny, but true.
My intro should drop something into your mind, YOU ARE NOT ALONE, BUT YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! This is the stark reality of the TIENS Business and for that matter any multi-level marketing business.
There are some good things I have seen which when cultivated can make your team explode, and I have seen some things that are not worth pursuing at all. In this post, I share with you one mistake you have to avoid at all cost.
And it has to do with time, time is so priceless, you don’t want to spend it on something that does not yield any monetary value, no. Read on…..
DO NOT EXPEND TIME ON PEOPLE WHO DO NOT WANT SUCCESS FOR THEMSELVES.
Avoid this to succeed in TIENS. When you get into the MLM industry and for that matter TIENS, one thing you will notice is that, some people are “go getters”. They will go all out to ensure they are succeeding.
Most of these would be people who have no hope, no certificates, no other career to hold on to. A few of them will be literates. And this group of people become “independent” on time. Sooner than later, they wean themselves off, and they start taking responsibility for their own team. You see them build their own stock of products, beginning to train their team, finding new markets to own, and growing. When you are fortunate to have one of such gems in your team, you have just struck gold. You keep them like the proverbial hen that lays the golden egg.
If you go prospecting, and some of these “go getters” land in your team and begin to partner with you, well and good. However, there are some who just do not want to succeed; and they will show by their actions that they are just not ready for this terrain.
You are better of leaving them alone and quit spending your precious time with them, continuing to follow them is a number one mistake you can ever make.
Remember that you are the Chief Executive Officer of your team, you are better of running forward and getting results than to be dragging a 100 people around who only misuse your time all day long.
In the MLM industry, people should be teachable i.e. people ready to lear, they should be people you can coach, i.e. ready to be taught how to go about their business and they should be serious i.e. seen to be working, and doing the basics. If they lack these three, forget them.
When they stop picking calls, not just yours, but everyone in the team, and will not reach out. It is obvious they are not ready. Leave them alone!
To succeed, search out in your team for those people who are very serious, and spend time on them, they are the future! You will achieve a lot with them.
Motivate them and give them every help you can, they can make it work with you.
In all, what I am trying to say is, do not spend time with people who are not committed! This is a mistake to avoid. The price you will pay following them is too high.
For the committed ones, push them! Surprise them, take them out, help them to attend destination events, and do all you can to make them grow in your team and you will sure succeed.
