Role of Mentors and Leaders in TIENS. As an MLM professional myself. I have been glued to one company for some four solid years now, and indeed, I have gained some experience up my sleeves to share.
Let us get started. So, you have registered and have gotten your package, well done!
You are now on your way to a journey of adventures, being a network professional is more than what you think, and most people don’t realize how broad, wide and deep the waters of network marketing is until the step in and stay in for up to three years! Yes, three years! I am currently just marking my second year and I can attest to that. Because it is not an easy journey, you will need assistance as you move on.
This assistance is some you will not find outside the business but within. This is because per the nature of the profession, it would be a banana peel to want to speak to someone who is not within for any form of advice whatsoever.
Now, there are a number of people you MUST surround yourself with. In order not to make this a lengthy read, I am going to do it in two parts, and I shall narrow down to just about three types of people you must have, a least you will need two.
The first type of people you will chance on in this business are called uplines. This is most probably the person who introduced you to the business. Except in cases where your upline has left the business in which case you have become an “orphaned” distributor, you will have this person with you throughout your stay in the company.
Just as you don’t choose your parents, you are not responsible for who becomes this upline. He or she automatically becomes your leader in a way. Let me state here again that it is possible for this person to leave the business and you will have to continue as an “orphan”.
The next type of people you will need are people I call LEADERS!
So, in network marketing we say, when you get in, find your own teacher and find your own leader!
What this means is that, within your larger team, you will realize that there is that someone who understands the intricacies of the business and amasses tremendous success in sales. Look for him or her and make him or her your leader! this person will guide you through and through BUSINESS RELATED DECISIONS ONLY and you will find yourself moving in leaps and bounds.
What do I mean by that, many people get into network marketing and expect their leaders to care for them, feed them, do prospecting and recruitment for them. No! It does not work like that.
If you have emotional needs, this person is not the one to worry.
If you have financial difficulties, this person is not the person to worry.
If you are going through family crises, this is the person to worry!
Role of Mentors and Leaders in TIENS
This is because this person might not even be half your age and might not have the ability to comprehend certain issues of life that you might be going through. Telling him or her your problems will just be akin to pouring water on rock!
The typical LEADER in TIENS and for that matter network marketing is very business minded. He or she is full of motivational statements that propel you to work and work and work to achieve. Get it straight, and not twisted!
If you grasp this aspect of the work, you will get far and not let anything sway you from following your dream.
This LEADER exist to help you:
Set your targets
Guide you into new market areas
Monitor your performance
Teach you prospecting and recruitment strategies
Provide guidance to help you meet your set targets.
